Why is Dynasty so much harder

Why is the Dynasty mutation so much harder than all the others, is it a bug with that instance or is it that the others are too easy, I am confused because its a crap ton harder, I personally have 613GS and am getting smashed to death so hard on level 1.

I hear from others who have 616 and 620 that its the same like impossibly hard to get progress on the early levels compared to the other instances.

Anyone else finding it that hard and equally confused?

The others are all utterly trivial.

Dynasty (and Depths if you’re a bit under leveled/geared) is the only one that provides even somewhat challenging mechanics. But I wouldn’t go so far as to say Dynasty is hard either. 2nd Phase of last boss is soloable by the tank with relative ease. You never have to take damage from the big dogs either.

Tbh, everything except Depths and Dynasty would be considered too easy even for introductory dungeons in other MMOs.

I’m curious about this too. Is it because mobs are doing piercing damage with the spears and a lot of elemental attacks from the wizard guys? I’m not sure. Health of the mobs seems to be correct.

just a case of the other ways are just way too easy for a endgame dungeon. Dynasty is what endgame dungeons are supposed to be instead of the steam roll the others are.

Nah, it’s just that Dynasty actually has some mechanics you need to pay attention to.

Even Dynasty is too easy for endgame. It should be a decent intro dungeon for max level.

Sure, a group of 625 players can steamroll M1 Dynasty no problem. Ppl who are facing the difficulty are “first timers” and experienced Mutator expedition players that easily say “It’s not the expedition, it’s you!”. That’s 100% false. Countless players have chimed in and out of game on forums, provided videos and PTR feedback that M Dynasty IS still over tuned. M Dynasty is usually “skip” week not because players are “bad”, the Mutation it’s self is a bit over tuned compared to the other end game GoG and Laz ME’s where players fly by from M1 through M10 in days. More players struggle with current state of M Dynasty than any other week or affix on GoG or Laz ME.

They just adjusted the loot table to M Dynasty not too long ago, great, but it does not include tuning of the Expedition. I have been with 615-620 “Experienced” Mutation M8-10 GoG and Laz players who were getting 2 shotted by Isabella and sometimes 1 shotted by the Tigers from a single leap. Tanks having their HP reduced by 3/4 in one hit by Commander Chen’s heavy attack, and yes, their HP we’re above normal to cover most incoming heavy attacks. Zhou Taiying “Dragon Circle” and “Punishing Wave” 1 shotting players despite “dodging” mechanics and this is ONLY M1. Ask yourself, how is it 625 players can breeze through M10 Lazarus Gold like it’s a M1 yet have difficulty with the current tuning in M Dynasty on a M3 that feels like a M10…?

Overall, M Dynasty does need a second look for difficulty adjustment. Whenever M Dynasty pops up for the weekly, I see it ALL the time in Global, “M Dynasty this week, well I guess It’s skip week”. GoG or Laz, ALL day, every day for a solid week ME’s are spammed. Now why is that? Surly there’s just bad players who majority of the time just want to skip M Dynasty for no reason. :roll_eyes:

After the update next week, I think you’re going to see a lot less people bothering with Dynasty barring a change and Laz until the runes bug is fixed.
