the funny part is they left the commentary guide on the loading screen that still says fire staff has some of the best crowd control

I love my FS/BB build, but in PvE & PvP it just doesn’t fill right.
So I kinda hope the FS will have a rework in the future.

Okay let me re-phrase it then. When ags fixes the exploit that lets you stack empower with meteor shower. Then the FS will no longer deal 3 mill damage… In its normal functioning no exploited state. The fs doesnt deal 3 mill dmg in an average opr match.

Why is flamethrower invisible? Why does it not have a CD or use mana? Why does mana not matter at all as a resource?
What do you mean, you don’t see all the noobs on the forums asking for Firestaff flamethrower to be nerfed?? The problem with Firestaff is noobs constantly cry about it on the forums so it can never be in a place where it is used in top level wars. You still see noobs asking for ridiculous things like cooldown on flamethrower when they have never played the weapon or have any sort of implication of what that means.
It doesn’t have a CD because it can be stopped by any ability including scream. What kind of question is that?

Exactly this. People think flamethrower is OP becuase they forgot their keyboard has a W button on it… Only the bad players struggle vs a flamethrower.
LMAO is this guy saying that spear is stronger than FS ? You barely see 2-3 spear user / war roster on EVERY server while FS light are literally top 5-10 of EVERY war and can rack up over 30-40kills. FIRE STAFF doesn’t neeed CC , FS/IG is one or the STRONGEST combo dmg / cc wise . FS dmg is OFF the ROOF. Nerf 40% dmg FS and give it CC I agree

Give us stagger on burnout hits and prevent it from going through people. Should reasonable considering the long cooldown it has.
that is his ONLY argument because he saw a screenshot somewhere and now believes it’s the norm. Not to mention that the mage has 2 weapons and part of the dmg comes from the second, if that second weapon probably is a IG that deals aoe dmg.

You claim that FS is capable of dishing out 3M dmg in 1 OPR.
Firstly, the person that obtain those numbers was using 2 weapons, not just 1.
Secondly you screenshot means nothing, I don’t even know if it was a mage or a naked guy punching ppl it’s just an cropped image.
Thirdly, learn to press “W”… that is all you need to survive the infamous flamethrower.
