I need to verify my Steam files because I get ‘Lag Detected’ false positives and other associated hiccups with running this game? Why can’t the game, you know, work properly?
had the same, found 3 files. never had this issue before.

Usually, steam validation is a normal process as it checks for all the files of the game and verifies that all the files are available and their integrity is not compromised.
