The “server maintenance” message is a generic message. The servers crashed.
After-sales service is lacking, like the game which I think is in the early stages of beta. I would say that they sold us a game in beta …
I bet if Amazon’s website went down and people couldn’t buy anything, your IT guys would fix it within seconds.

The Amazon site being down would be measured in millions of dollars a minute being lost.
New World is a money loser on the best of days. They do not feel the need to care.

They should have thought of a better excuse. Saying it was “maintenance” would set a really bad precedent that maintenance from here on could be unannounced.

new world is going to be a monumental flop, when it should have been a great success, because the base is very good, my opinion as a player is that I have to pay for a game which is at the beginning of the beta phase which I find deplorable .

Server is still down. 5 hours deep. No words. Can u maybe checkup and see what’s actually happening. I think it’s completely broken. And people went home for the weekend

It seems like this may be similar to an issue that Star Citizen has that has become known as the 30k bug.
