Why is there a friends' list cap?

Is there any decent reason that we have a cap on our friends list? I’ve been at 100 friends for literally months and months, and every time i make a new friend i have to pick someone that i like and de-friend them.

this has been driving me bonkers for months and i’m sure i’ve lost friends because i removed them from my friends’ list. ive had quite a few other players that are no longer so friendly with me when i run into them, since i removed them.

if there absolutely must be a cap, could we at least get it bumped up to 200 or something?

Agree, why ever a friendlist cap?. I don’t have many friends but it’s kinda strange about the cap. What is the reason about it?

Im super popular on my self, I am constantly having to remove and add people. This cap needs an increase.
