I jumped back due to all the updates and fresh start. But I tried a new setup and started playing. But I quit shortly after reaching the first big town. Combat doesn’t feel great still and I was thinking to myself “do I really want to grind professions again?”. I’ll wait and hope they improve the combat.
So was it the tuning orbs that was the bad component or could there have been anything else that could have been paced out better to accomodate the build a key to enter the dungeon formula. Maybe more chances to find the building materials. Our just making them out of basic refined materials and dont rely on rng for that last key ingredient to make a tuning orb. There were options but people whine or go to extremes.
While we are talking about farming weapons, farming isnt bad on its own but im more a fan of being able to upgrade basic weapons into legendary items, more for being a fan of underdog stories and becoming a legendary master of your weapon no matter its humble design can in the right hands be absolutely devestating. But instead we play a game where the only way to really progress and or prevent a loss of proficiency is to get the best weapons from drops and rng pick ups and its nothing really earned its just luck based. And because of this combat is moving more and more towards gear based combat and away from skill.
