Why no Daggers or Rouge Like Weapon?

Im not activly playing New World atm.
Becouse im a Rouge type of player in mmos, you gave us rapier as a fast playstyle.
WHY ??? I understand the thinking behind it, so it suites the setting… but you miss so much players that like to play faster playstyles. Everytime i see a new weapon comming out i hope its something dual wielded or fast… not everybody likes to play big ass weapons… its not the same feeling… you will lose more players if you dont stop putting in the same style of weapons with no real variety in different playstyles…

PS: Blunderbuss is a joke for players like me…

sword/shield with 10 meters jump is the rough weapon atm

There is no real stealth as such in this game, so no real way to play a classic Rouge/Thief. Doesn’t mean there wont be of coarse. There are pistols, exclusively NPC weapons at present which I can see making the jump over at some point, next weapon to come is Great Sword much later in the year.
