Time to find a different game or a playstyle since Tanking isn’t an option and it seems it’ll never be.
every time we are deluded with the speech that “we are working on it”, but EVERY update is a different nerf for tanks
They are “working on” more ways to make nobody play tank. Thats what that means.
Stop trusting that they will do any sort of positive changes to anything at this point.
People are imagining that any changes we see at this point are intentional ones like the “gravwell buff of 3 hits” when in fact its just more incompetence and a bug.
They accidentally made something better and it’ll get “fixed soon”.
I am done assuming that they are capable of making intentional changes.
From here on out my default assumption is that every change is an accident unless it’s an obvious patch noted nerf like this one. A nerf with 0 justification given, that nobody asked for and that is probably based on some pure numbers metric, that was collected and “studied” by people who either don’t actually play the game or are terrible at it if they do.

One thing that may have been overlooked is that with this change in the 200 CON passive, in addition to losing armor, we also lose HP, since armor affects the efficiency of the 100 CON passive.
I think they made a lot of balance in PTR for arenas.
200 con is too powerful small scale its the #1 way to win windsward 1v1s and would be nearly just as good in 3v3.
Builds that require 3+ people to eliminate arent well suited for arenas either hence why u saw the tanky stuff take a hit.
in fact this seemed to me an attempt to affect the “bruisers”, but it wrongly affected the tanks. Also, tank is so limited in this game that it probably won’t even be used in 3v3.
By the way, 1x1 is not a good balance parameter, mainly because we don’t normally use pot or other consumables.
now about “being suitable” or not, I believe that all classes should be suitable for all contents, otherwise, there would be no reason to have such a class.
I say “class” knowing this is a limited concept in the NW, but whatever.
but I reiterate, tank is already weak in a real pvp scenario, serving only as a bag of meat to stay on the flag (which you don’t have in arenas) so there would be no reason to nerf the tank, even as a “side effect”

I really like the con reduction, mainly for bruisers and how strong 200 con is on dps for small scale fights.
I dont see many tanks as is in PVP so I could see how this is a big nerf. Hopefully devs will check this thread and buff you in other areas. Wish I knew more about tank but i have never played it.
And you’re right not to play with the class, today it doesn’t offer advantages lol.
But do what? It’s a class I like.
For me tank is life my shield was bestowed to me by the stars, my first taste of combat was when I was recognized by the healers when they finally decided I was not just a meat shield that just dropped, but someone to push forward when others did not move. They realized after countless battles I was trying to help so now I go unyielding into every battle to annoy every enemy to the point they leave me alone. I have even had a full firing squad shooting in different directions trying to take me down, because if I am living I am going to make it a nightmare walking through those doors, but I always can’t do it alone if alone and if I’m attacked most would throw their gauntlet to help me. Why I can still remember the unspoken battle of moon where I was attacked by three and three healers came to my aid funny enough more poured in and we protected each other and even funnier defeated six. We lost the game however tanks can be a game changer we are just underdog material.
Move it to 250 man, don’t fuck with the tanks build up just to shadownerf the bruisers and call it a fair win.
This retarded nerf is for the 3vs3 arenas, because as the game is dying, let’s just make this a mobile game with fast action 3vs3 in-out casual pvp. Everyone is fully geared already they just need to kill people to get off.
Imagine “balancing” the pvp for 3v3 arenas that are mostly for messing around, instead of 50v50 wars the result of which actually have gigantic ingame effects.
This whole idea that they’re doing X or Y to make builds work better in the 3v3 arenas that aren’t even out yet, is a little farfetched. It assumes that they have the predictive ability to see how 3v3 arenas would shake out with current meta builds in the FUTURE, when it’s not even in the live environment yet, and they regularly show the inability to see corrrectly whats happening NOW in that environment even with us screaming loudly about the issues.
We have to stop assuming they can see the future, when its not a sure thing that they can see at all.
This game have no future. Thats It. Pull apart PVE and PVP. until then this game is mortally wounded. I cant recomend this Game anymore to anyone. Reach the top for me and my patience.
If you get a PvP tank with GA all bets are off.
