Why is the only content AGS promotes and seems to think players like is repetitive grinding of chests and elites?
From what I understand and have experienced, The Dev blog (High Watermark System) from the 30th October states that the likelyhood of HWM increases is lower on event caches than it is killing elite enemies. Given that some content takes up to 40 minutes (wars, OPR) and an elite enemy can be killed numerous times in this timeframe, it’s also no wonder why it’s more effective.
However Why are players being forced to play content they don’t enjoy? You could argue it’s the lack of content but it’s been this way from day 1.
With the upcoming changes it almost seems like AGS wants to prioritise elite and chest farming over anything else.
Shouldn’t 50 hours spent crafting items give similar GS upgrade to 50 hours spent in OPR, spent in expeditions, spent grinding elites or opening chests (if that’s your thing). I agree that it’s a cheap way out to buy high GS items off the trading post, but you earnt that gold through doing content (except if you exploited) and your time is worthwhile.
