It would be sick to get an eveningstar skin for the warhammer:
Fenrir’s Fury skin for greataxe looks good for me and it’s been there since launch. I hope they add something similar for the greatsword, because the vanilla skins in PTR are gross.
The greatsword is… well, really great too. Aka fat. Too big.
I hope we will get sleeker realistic skins.

Style and this were some other points on large weapons.
Its a power thing? Like setting off explosions. Ya know, big powerful (slow) ya hit you go boom! (okay I love my war hammers)
In fast paced combat you focus on movement/weapon …
Large weapons so you can see what your enemy uses/wears in the game in a glance at the screen character-otherwise be too hard to track visually in fast combat & animation.(old style gaming btw)
But yeah, the greatsword needs to be more in line with other weapons when its on your back, it is too fat/wide and long.
Well i don’t think that they did this for that reason, since they allow changing full plate to cloth apperance or reverse. So it’s impossible to understand if someone wear heavy armor or cloth armor until they use their dodge skill.
And also one handed weapons are small.
They trying to be like WoW and the run animation

God … I hate the look of the Great Sword! I love to main one but it’s a skyscraper looking FF7 BS weapon

Yeah, I really appreciate the realism of the Life Staff. As a Life Staff user in real life, I think they got the soft, misty green of our healing energy spot on.

There’s literally several unusual weapons found all over medieval history n people are hung over the hill because a Fantasy Setting Great Sword doesn’t look like a Zweihander.

Me, I went wiggly in the knees when I saw how close-to-lifelike they made the Ice Gauntlet. I guess I see greatsworders being disappointed their weapon didn’t get that treatment.
I think this is The greatsword that the majority of us wanted or imagined when they announced it, had to ruin it obviously

Iunno, I’m too old to be too hyped anymore. If I set expectations I’m just asking to be let down on them, really. That’s been my experience.
Besides, I’m sure there’ll be different weapon skins, and they can change it after the fact besides.
I believe this is the ratio that DEVs want.

Agree. I also hate WH, GA and GS but I understand some people like them big. If they provide normal skins (Smaller) this wouldn’t be a problem to discuss. But they don’t.
It’s been 1 year and no smaller skins…
Even WoW have tons of “normal” looking 2H swords skins.
This is a fantasy game and gigantic weapons are cool.

Cool for some stupid for some. Best way is to provide skins. Like they didn’t for GA and WH but then was too many problems to acknowledge people complains.
