Important information about the factions and territories has just been posted and the information is that they are translating into German, French and Spanish. Why aren’t they translating to Portuguese?
You have a large community that speaks Portuguese, whether from Brazil or from other countries, it’s a huge lack of respect that we don’t have posts in Portuguese. I can understand English, but there are people who cannot. Does this person not have the right to receive this essential information in their own language?
We want respect and consideration for our community.
Could anyone give me an answer? We still don’t have official announcements in Portuguese. Why? Who speaks Portuguese doesn’t deserve to have official texts in their language?
I’m just being honest, Portuguese language probably doesn’t have a big enough player base themselves. There are so many languages, they would have like 20 posts saying the same thing.
I read posts of any language, you just “right click” the text and click “Translate to (your preferred language)” and then you can read any post from any language in the language of your preference.
@2GramDabs We have more than 5 thousand players who speak Portuguese. The point is not to use a translator, but to have official posts. I understand English, this is not a problem for me. But I think that if AGS sells the game to those who speak Portuguese, has the game translated into Portuguese and has a tab here on the forum for posts in Portuguese, what is the problem/difficulty in having official posts in Portuguese, as it had before and how it has for all languages?
Você gostaria de ter que usar o tradutor no forum? E como falei, se há uma aba em português, ela pode e deve ser usada. Duvido que se não tivesse postagens no seu idioma você iria simplesmente falar “ah ok, vou usar o google tradutor aqui e esta resolvido”.
The game is fully in polish language, official website as well, but there is no “polish language section on forum and there is no announcements in polish”.
There is no reason for so many translations, and it has nothing with “deserve” or not deserve, because every nation deserve it the same, so why others have it while some other do not? Simply accept that fact and play the game
I play the game. I won’t stop playing for that. As I mentioned, I understand English, this is not a problem for me. But, there are those who don’t understand and that’s what I’m talking about. If you can even see in my images, there is a tab on the forum for official posts in Portuguese and until May they were posted along with the others. However, they stopped. This is my question. I used the word deserve, but I could have used have the right or may have. It’s all a way of expressing yourself. Anyway, I’d really like an answer from AGS, even if it’s something like “we decided not to post in Portuguese anymore for…”
