Yes, I could farm chests and bosses. But why do it? I can simply wait until a lot of people hit 600 water mark and buy their stuff.
I will probably end up doing this anyway because they drop the items I need. Sure, I lose gold, but there is plenty of it in most game modes and weapon mastery quests. And any expansion will raise the water mark, so why bother?
Exactly, and you dont even need 600 GS items because you can already beat the whole game with mass zerging everything.

Or you can do non of that, sell some rings and buy some legendary items. I see your point, but this is the first game I played where you can essentially skip the endgame grind.
I am not even sure the grind will be a long term investment because the GS will probably be increased to 600 to 700 with the first expansion.
watermark is a trap, we play games because we enjoy it, but who enjoys the process of grinding 600 gear score?
Just buy gears and spend the time more wisely
