Soloing the elite area to obtain chests is the only enjoyable thing for me RN, why would you take it away? Not everybody has 5 hours to burn through all the elite zones daily, doing so will only create more gaps among players, eventually those who work normal hours (Tend to spend on cash store) will quit.
The elite chests do not respawn at the same time for everybody, otherwise players can organize mass run. Parkour has been such an enjoyable part of the game, I have nothing to look forward to now.
I feel you but if it makes any difference, the solo portion was not the only part affected. We had a group of 25 to 30 people in Myrk earlier and we wiped to the priest. They have buffed it so much that groups that normally run elites together can’t because they cannot gather a group large enough to complete it. In addition the drop rate of the chests were cut in half so instead of 5 pieces of gear from an elite chest we are seeing only 2. I’m not sure what the goal was here but its really hurting low population servers.
I have been solo running chests in mines and we farmed both priest in Myrkgard after that patch.
in 5 men group it was easy.
As soon as “the 20 people train” came in… all hell went loose.
So yea… i think it scales or something but it didnt effect us in our 5 men group.
Get 2-3 groups that kills mob and not just leech, myrk is just a little harder now but not impossible to complete, if you get a group of just leechers, mobs and elite will just build up and wipe, as for the OP, I think it can still be solo
All of you are getting away from the posts original complaint which is that solo chest runs are now less rewarding. Which is true. you receive far less loot now.
