Why you nerf fanged ring

that sword cannot be rolled.

they just love their dex hunting classes for some reason, they have so many insane drops while being completly overpowered by just the attribute tree.

But seriously though that ring would double buff nature attunement musket/bows/spears which is gonna be a bad time.

it not usable in actual content like war, and in opr, the only thing that makes ranged broken was mortal empowerment which buff 30%, this only buff 5% extra lol

edit: also invigorated also consistently buff like 4%-8% damage, so this is just a consistent 5%, it wouldn’t make ranged OP like you think it will
go take a headshot from a musket with out 4-5 stacks of mortal empowerment, it will not kill you in 3 hits like most people say in forums. I’m not a musket main, I hate that weapon and want it to be nerfed to the ground but I’m saying, the real reason is mortal empowerment.

fair, forgot those 2 perks can’t buy can still roll attunement and rogue… which is better than enchanted… and you can t double damage roll rings

dude there tons of double damage perks and ring that exist already

this thing does 30% at 625 extra

this ring only buff 5%
mortal empowerment buff 30% and you think this is broken
bruh… what?

edit: if you need to see a PoV how musket player contains their 15 stacks of mortal (30%) damage
I have tons of War Vods

there are countless “illegal” perk combinations on many of the named items in the live game.
ex: laz bow, brimstone elite rings, etc

what other rings provide two flat damage buffs outside of the critical damage perk and dots

any kind of ring with a damage perk and invigorated punishment or mortal empowerment, and these new illegal perk rings with keen awareness and damage perk at the sametime
invigorated punishment literally trigger the moment some one pop a honing stone, shirking fortification/great axe auto/great axe heavy auto/hatchet auto/hatchet heavy auto/hatchet haste/greataxe blood lust haste/hammer heavy/archer roll haste and roll empower
any of those will instant put invigorated buff to 6-8% and it a perk that increase 2% per stack, stack up to 8 times.

So there is no chance by any means this ring which give additional 5% is OVERPOWERED.
And the argument here is because some noob or dumb dev think this is OP and nerf it to the ground by slapping it with refreshing evasion, making the ring completely unusable and garbage to even slot

The argument here is this ring is nice to have, a cherry on top of a cake, but it nothing like completely out of control, because if you call this 5% op, go look at rogue and enchanted, or enchanted with trenchant strike which is far beyond more damage than this ring gives

edit 3: Also I’m gonna tell you one more thing why shadow edge is so strong as I assume you have no idea, round shield off hand damage perk stack with main hand
and it can roll keenly jagged and vicious that is 5 damage perk in 1 setting
Keenly jagged, Keenly empowered, vicious,rogue,enchanted
and the shield can have up to (4) previously, 3 perks after nerf

edit 4: sword and shield get empowered 10% (ultimate perk) simply just by equiping the weapon
get another 30% from heavy attack, even more so from it weapon perk like leaping strike which on weapon make them take 31% damage, they are 90% always dealing 45-50% (capped empowerment) damage bonus along with fast attack like hatchet or rapier(they don’t even need mortal empowerment), go watch youtube montage and see how fast people delete some one with sns alone

I do feel for op. That rings was in no way gamebreaking.

Maybe it was causing a bug with muskets?

I don’t see any other reason they would change it as there are other 2 perkers that can’t be rolled that are still in game

Maybe they will get round to fixing them all, like they did with empowerment through weapon swap…

I think they might be kept that one how it is because of the extremely low chance to get it.

Oof rip

amazon is just 1cm away from being blizzard, release anti fun update, start with mage, then voidblade, armor perks and now the ring

what i’m trying to ask is why does it matter if they nerf this ring in particular when there’s better things out there

you don’t have to be on attack  at the end of the day the devs are going to do what they want to do

there ya go - argue the pve side of things not the pvp side

No, this is nerfed for PVP, not because of PVE, cause corruption only take 15% from nature where arcane is 30% more, people will slot arcane in invasion over nature

also you can have up to 15% more arcane damage from runeglass and rings, there’s no way they nerf this for PVE

who cares if it’s nerfed for pvp when there’s better things out there

If it “who cares” why would they nerf it?

there’s people out there giving their opinion and feedback because they hate archer and musket (thrust damage) so they nerf this for that
