Then what is there to save? you enjoy it play it… hmmmm simple
i see you rolled strong on charisma and perception ![]()
+1 good sir

I played New World as a strictly-PvE player until I was super wealthy and could buy bis gear. I dabble in PvP, but I’m here for the PvE and all that gold I’ve made because of it.
I was grinding 2 to 3 mil gold a week, but the resurgence of players has bolstered it up to 4mil a week.
I rarely do PvP, and I do great. I know quite a few people who don’t really do the PvP.
Wars being monopolized by a very small portion of the community and the exact same faces in every OPR match should tune you in to the fact that as much as this game is PvX and was marketed to the PvP crowd, most players are still PvE, and only sometimes dabble in PvP.
It’s a pretty normal pattern among games for players to return for new stuff, play a while, then back off. It certainly doesn’t mean a game is doomed because it trends that way. As long as new content brings in new players, and old players return and some of them buy cosmetics, it can be very healthy.
No this is too small of an update to fix all of New Worlds problems. A true expansion needs to be released with lots of end game combat, new dungeons/raids, another OPR type combat, more stuff to do.
Though in saying that the game had a stabalized population before this announcement. It probably wasn’t enough for management but still enough to still work on. This zone will keep people busy for 1-2 months but still not enough to do. Though it is getting better. I have a lot more positive feelings then I did in April.
Nope!
Only saying this because it doesn’t need saving. It’s already a great game.
Will Brimstone Sands “enhance” New World?
Heck yeah ![]()
Editing the above from completely inaccurate (and biased) to correct. See below:
PvP is what keeps SOME players interested.
Not all players play MMOs for PVP. If New World deleted all PVP aspects from the game, I’d still play it. To me, nothing would have changed except the forums would lose thousands of “OMFG NERF IT” posts ![]()
But what does a foam bat have to do with this thread?
lol! ![]()
Sure, but you are the absolute miniority. You represent the smallest playerbase of the entire game population. Very very few players are exclusively PvE.
Suuuuuuuuper biased ![]()
I say more than 50% only play PVE.
Suli, it’s okay I call you Suli right? Since Sir Jiggy and I previously exchanged text scrawled fisticuffs I am honor bound to intercede. You see if the enemy of my enemy is my friend Sir Jiggy warrants my assistance to put a stop to your line of insults. At no point has Sir Spice - keep up as names are important- expressed bias or malcontent towards those unfamiliar with the way of the PvPer. So it would be good form on your part to retract your affront leaning language directed at my dear friend Jiggy.
Good day sir
Nah, it’s easily at least half the playerbase is exclusively PvE.
That’s absolutely fine. 100% ok with it sir ![]()
Other people are proving my (main) point also. That point being there’s no “real” metric for how many “pure pvp” vs “pure pve” vs “wtf cares” types of people play this game.
Best we can do is guess only.
they only improved level 1-20. Level 20-60 is still the same old booring grind. The Greatsword and Elite Skills are the best part of this update.
But still the game lacks:
*Fun and exciting Casual?Core Open World PvE Events.
*Large Scale non Guild Based PvP gameplay.
*Better Housing System with less copy paste.
*More Instanced PvP modes.
*Better Crafting System of all tiers.
*Dynamic Events of all scales including solo events.
*More Weapons.
