I dont think it will save, but i am too curious to see what will happen when all 60 players will go to Brimstone area at the same time… what gonna hapen, i am so thrilling to see it

And FSS will save New World.

Greetings. I have decided to return to New World after walking away in February. The Brimstone update caught my attention. So today I reinstalled the game, and what is the first thing I encounter? ’ Server is down for a brief restart." Just my luck.
I will need to get reacquainted with the game and find a new Company to join.
I’m a purple on Eastern US server Valhalla
Any server recommendations for a senior citizen (grumpy old man) who is a casual, laidback gamer who just wants to do his own thing?

That money ends up in the hands of M10 runners and people who play the market.
An M10 runner can easily triple the money any hardcore war runner is making each week.
New World is not a PvP game, it’s a game with PvP.

Where you able to get on last night at all? I was able to finish the MSQ and knock out the side (MSQ?) for the heartrune unlock.

I got to the “Manticore” shit show and then real life pulled me away for the night. Same old AGS problems.
I was going to rush at first and then decided I’d rather get Nightveil things done while it’s going on. Heartgems will be there and I’ve already collected all the non-brimstone materials before the patch dropped.
(Hopefully get some good playtime in tonight though!)

Yeah I remember seeing a line for some scorpion and just moving along on my merry way.
Think some of those are going to have to wait until things cool off or maybe early morning this weekend.
The Night veil boss is pretty fun (Very simple) - I looked at it as a sample boss for possible raid mechanics down the line…

funny to see people describing NW as a PvX game and debating if the X is more P or more E. It’s neither. It’s both.

Also, for this game both are needed. If there was no PvE it would die. If there was no PvP it would die. This game isn’t built like WoW, FFXIV, SWTOR etc. where those are mostly pve but also have a lot bigger of an end game etc.
We’ll see how the raids turn out though as that will add a lot to the pve side.

New World never needed saving.
It’s built on a 1 time box fee, some cosmetic store sales, and is more aimed at getting Prime Subscribers some extra stuff to do.
It doesn’t need WoW or FF numbers to succeed.
Amazon knows what they’re doing. This is more about Amazon’s eco system, not the revenue of a single MMO.

With one OPR map and one Arena map compared to the plethora of PvE content - how can anyone honestly… with a straight face, say this is a PvP game?
