Sticky bomb deals thrust damage. Thats what bugged about the sticky if you are using elemental conversion gems, its only scaling with the remaining 50% thrust damage. honestly cant you just equip a physical musket and a full dex gear and try it?

Thats a good point in discussion you need full dex to deal such damage, so if any melee catch u will die in instantly. But are they threat to you ? If u take spot on wall or hill throw bomb and shot to guy ? Or stay 70m away ? Gravity lets say 10 m, charge 12 still 48 left.

No I always sayin same to people who play bows musket and complain about Gravity, VG Scream, Ice Shower and wonder how it was possible that he stayed so close to melees and were out of positions. As a player that qeueās solo, or with one other exclusively, I donāt care about muskets, and I think most of the complaining about muskets is because a lot of players, even the majority, spend most of their time running around in the woods chasing other players, rather than fighting on point or in the fort.
That makes them exposed to muskets 90% of their playing time, since they are forever running around in the open and exposed.
Thatās not a musket problem, though, that is a stupidity problem.
Mainly as muskets are capable of doing the same thing. I find them second only to GA/WH.

I generally avoid doing that, so I donāt spend all that much time exposed to musket fireā¦and yes, I know there are places a musket can be that they can shoot into the forts, but thatās manageable.
Most players expose themselves to muskets close to 100% of the match, not fighting on point. They get shot. They should be. They are purposely giving the musket the advantage, playing to itās strengthā¦open ground, long ranges. Thatās not the musket being OP, that is the players playing stupid.
Short answer nope. Nothing will change. This game will continuation to bleed players. Because itās not fun for all but a small select few gamers.
Here is the long answer. If you want to revive your OPR scene. Either make it equalized gear. So more people can be a contender and have fun. Or massively reduce the PvE grind gates on PvP viability. Which would draw and maintain the attention of PvP players. Letās be fair trying to get PvEers to PvP is a failed concept. If you think anything other either of those will revive you No-Life required PvP scene. Then you are delusional at best.
People normally do grind work to make money to forward their lives. People normally donāt do massive boring grind work. For thousands of hours for free or pay $40. In the hopes they get lucky to start having fun. Nah, that donāt fly anymore. Evidence is all over the internet.
