šŸ¤” Will OPR revive after the changes? HMMMMM!?!

looks very balanced… @Luxendra x2 dmg on 100m range, then every FS Heavy does

So what are you trying to say? Rangeds are good at range? Are you expecting them to get close to you so you can oneshot them after you facetanked of 4-5 shots and healed back with a single potion?

No I always sayin same to people who play bows musket and complain about Gravity, VG Scream, Ice Shower and wonder how it was possible that he stayed so close to melees and were out of positions. So it means it balanced you stay of save spot u deal thousnd of damage but if u get caught by melee due to u have not seen him etc u are dead.

Did you guys know carrying a sword and shield counters muskets? If they bother you tooo much this is one possible work around or solution

I would go for a second map that takes place in some kind cavern system.

in starstone barrows  i think traps and platforms its very interesting:D like rush mode in battlefield , why not?

As a player that qeue’s solo, or with one other exclusively, I don’t care about muskets, and I think most of the complaining about muskets is because a lot of players, even the majority, spend most of their time running around in the woods chasing other players, rather than fighting on point or in the fort.

That makes them exposed to muskets 90% of their playing time, since they are forever running around in the open and exposed.

That’s not a musket problem, though, that is a stupidity problem.

Mainly as muskets are capable of doing the same thing. I find them second only to GA/WH.

You realise you run between points and to the baron right?

Yup. Twice per match.

That’s about 30 seconds there, and 30 seconds back each time, generously.

How much time do most players spend running around in the woods outside of the forts, chasing reds?

I generally avoid doing that, so I don’t spend all that much time exposed to musket fire…and yes, I know there are places a musket can be that they can shoot into the forts, but that’s manageable.

Most players expose themselves to muskets close to 100% of the match, not fighting on point. They get shot. They should be. They are purposely giving the musket the advantage, playing to it’s strength…open ground, long ranges. That’s not the musket being OP, that is the players playing stupid.

Short answer nope. Nothing will change. This game will continuation to bleed players. Because it’s not fun for all but a small select few gamers.

Here is the long answer. If you want to revive your OPR scene. Either make it equalized gear. So more people can be a contender and have fun. Or massively reduce the PvE grind gates on PvP viability. Which would draw and maintain the attention of PvP players. Let’s be fair trying to get PvEers to PvP is a failed concept. If you think anything other either of those will revive you No-Life required PvP scene. Then you are delusional at best.

People normally do grind work to make money to forward their lives. People normally don’t do massive boring grind work. For thousands of hours for free or pay $40. In the hopes they get lucky to start having fun. Nah, that don’t fly anymore. Evidence is all over the internet.

Have fun with your PvP scene that needs to be revived. Enjoy being the last of the dying dinosaurs. You guys will not be missed.

That they didn’t learn from GW2 still amazes me.

The Gear Score is a legitimate concern. YOu don’t have to equalize the gear, though, you can do it through equalizing the team gear Score.

The matchmaking system should assign players and groups in such a way that Gear Score is the most even it can be between the teams.

I agree 100%, but that is every MMO I have ever been on that had any sort of PvP. Every player says any weapon that can beat them needs a nerf and of course every weapon they use is either perfectly fine or needs a boost. People are so shortsighted.

Just stay and defend mid (sun) instead of pushing too far by yourself and dying to range in the open.

LOL.

Precisely. Nearly every match, if my team wins the initial fight at Sol, they rush forward to try and take the enemy camp, or go to the enemy spawn, immediately, they don’t even wait to capture Sol.

Then, they all die and the enemy comes rushing into Sol with their full zerg. A lot of those idiots die to muskets that are waiting for them to do just that.

It’s a beautiful thing to watch. ROFL

I dont have any problem with any other weapon. GA is the fotm since release and it had no significant nerf and now the IG joined the fotm gang and these two makes pvp unplayable imo. Not even worth to get close to a team fight if you arent running 300str because you would die stunlocked.

Yeah it did. The huge lunge distance was nerfed hard and it had it’s crit multiplier nerfed as well I think. Also reap was nerfed.

It’s just that it’s still op :joy:

That lunge wasnt nerfed, more like fixed, no other weapon had such a lunge. They basically had a medium dodge each time they swinged their weapon now its the same like others. I can’t count it as a nerf.
A nerf would be something like slowing down its swing speed, because right now the first attack is exactly as fast as the rapier’s first poke attack some youtuber made a test about it, Fusion Gaming or something was his name. Thats why its impossible to not trade with a GA player as a dex player because he is as fast or faster than us while having 2-4x as much const. And on the top of that, they have the best abilities in the game, grav, charge, maelstorm. The GA is just unbeatable in most scenarios.

A fix can be a nerf.

GA lunge
Blackguard ranged weapons
Bow 20% body shot damage thing

GA isnt the best in 1v1s I think.
