They already said cross world opr is coming out in june and guess what :scream: cross world is in season 2 :scream::scream::scream: get the idea? You legit cant count too, look up “day calculator” on google, press the first result, then input march 28 as start date and june 28 as end date. WOW 92 DAYS!!!

Then September 28 and then December 28, making season 4 consisting of 3 days in 2023 and the rest of the 3 months in 2024, next year.

Yea, I was under the impression that they can speed up some updates, but since they divided them by seasons and they need to respect the 3 months cycle since it will include a paid pass as well, the roadmap is valid until March 2024. Meaning it’s unlikely we will get the next roadmap until late March - April 2024.

Cheeky AGS

I’m going to respond to your post piece by piece.

I mean yeah in uncapped gear settings a 645GS player would have troubles against 700+ GS players. However I know many Ninja in BDO would can kill players that are 50+ GS more than then. Just due to how much raw damage Ninja does.

So for open world PvP all you have to do is swap to either Seasonal PvP channel or Arsha channel, it’s that easy.

I hear you, however if you plan on being a murder hobo in BDO. You learn to either join a guild that regularly declares war on other guilds. Or you learn to use the PvP channels. On the PvP channels like Seasonal PvP and Arsha, you can be a murder hobo and defend “your” spot with impunity.

Yes one CC in BDO does equal death in most cases unless you are 1200+ evasion build. However, good players normally dance around each other for more than 45 seconds before getting that one CC. In BDO is all about the “dance” per-say. After winning the dance, as long as you are playing a class that has decent or better PvP potential. If you have your combos mastered you are rewarded with the win.

This is true and not true at the same time. So in New World there is either you have the endgame gear to PvP or you just are fodder. Where as in BDO with less than 36 hours of grinding after starting a Seasonal character. You’ll have all the gear you need to be able to be competitive in T1 Node Wars(Beginner Wars). After you hit 650GS you will then have all the gear to be competitive in T2 Node Wars. After you hit 720+ GS in BDO you’ll have enough gear to be competitive in every once of PvP content in BDO. This is all not accounting class and skill which can make you competitive at far less gearscore.

I’m 661GS now, and can kill almost everyone except close to hardcap 1200+ evasion classes. I am in a pretty well known T2 to T4 Node War guild.

In New World you either have to put in thousands of hours or hundreds of USDs on illegal RMT vendors to get decent PvP gear. Because there are no beginner friendly PvP venues in New World. Whereas in BDO, after a maximum of 36 hours of grinding Seasonal character. You’ll have all you need to be able to win nodes in T1 Node Wars and open world fights on the Seasonal PvP channel.

I never really left. I have a few toons spread through NA servers. It’s easier to help players n friends that way.

I normally run mid and low level zones with my 625s. Grab resources and assist. Most times I just pop my Defenders resolve to attract aggro and block. And let the low level kill the target while I’m the meatbag.

It’s fun and something to do when waiting.

I do like to dump lots of fish on randoms. Just ask for trade and hand them stack of fillets. All tiers.

The “What is your plan” topics are great. It gives everyone ideas to replace or incorporate into thier own experience.

It also shows how non-linear character progression is. Look at the community.

Instance PvP only
Instance PvE only
Overall PvE
Overall PvP
Open world only
Trade skillers
And more types.

I myself chose PvE open world only. No WTs. I have been able to level toons to 625 and my play style can be a serious handicap. But you can do it.

So enjoy the game how you want. Make odd plans.

I may make another toon after expansion drops to compare GS pace. So far 90ish in game hours to get to GS625 with a fss toon. If it wasn’t GS farming, that toon was not logged in.

So a GS bump of 700 sounds fun!

Are you going to continue posting on the forums about a game you dont like?

Nobody will take for node war player with 36 hours play time. These players have problems to do combos dont know their chars. Ok casual guilds which lose everything will … but this content is not about that. Dont forget to write if u want reach 700 GS is around 1600 hours of grind 650 GS is around 700-800 hours. With average income 500-700 silver/hour. Add to this time gated items like gamroth heart or accesories cups which give you solid buff and there are almost thousand of preorders on EU for earring cup or gamroth heart. Yes u have quest for guranteed gamroth heart but for a guy like me it will take 8-9 months to complete it because I can kill max 4-5 Nouvers.

Season 4 wont be at the end of december because it has a christmas event which has to be early-mid december. Either way, the guy said season 3 will come out in december :joy::joy: which makes absolutely no sense as that season will include a halloween event. Halloween event during christmas? Really?

You mean

No, I assume S3 will release late October, and Halloween will occur on October 31, nothing wrong here. For S4, They might release it a few days sooner to match Christmas or simply release a Christmas Update before the next season launch

He explained it better than I did. I don’t know how is it confusing still

On NA server, Nerds and Celestials will take players fresh out of season and train them in the ways of BDO. Both those guild win some of their wars.

Yes, this is mostly true. 650 GS will normally take players about 300 to 500 hours. 700 GS is the major grind that takes over 1500 hours in most normal cases. However, unlike New World, BDO does have capped PvP venues for much lower geared players to compete and win in. So getting to 720+ GS for uncapped PvP modes is not necessary to be competitive in PvP in BDO. However, in New World getting BiS gear is close to mandatory if you want to be competitive in any PvP mode.

While everything you’ve listed here is true. The fact also remains that due to the gear caps in T1s and T2s. You can reach the caps without any of that stuff. The only place cups, infinite pots, Garm heart, and Vell heart is needed, is in the uncapped PvP modes and some of the very endgame PvE content. That’s before we mention the equalized standardized Arena of Solare PvP Ranked seasons. (The next AoS season should be starting up very soon.)

Please don’t mention “Bdo”. This is the new world forum

Lol. The guy has been thinking this is the BDO forum for a year and a half now. It’s his MO.

I was correcting someone on their misinformation in relation of New World to BDO. Do we live in times where it’s illegal to compare items of the same category? Damn sad times indeed.

Bro winter starts december 21 :joy:

September* your assumption is wrong

I dont understand how youre so confused lol, its a 2023 roadmap and youre talking about them releasing 2023 roadmap content in 2024 :joy::joy: season 4 is in december period idk why u arguing with that

Does BDO pay people to talk about BDO on the forums of other games?

I just point things why imo New World is more casual friendly than BDO. In BDO you must grind killing same monsters for hundred of hours to take part in every content in game… here on FSS it took me 50 hours to have similiar character to my legacy one… worse gear ofc but I was able to participate in every content. However I agree with him BDO is better if we talk „reward for time”, combat is more interesting but also full of desync and how wins very often depends from your … FPS yes in BDO dmg = FPS dunno why but people complain about that for years and Pearl Abyss cant fix it. Probably due to how game was designed its impossible to fix it.

So after all that, what he really meant was you misused the word Winter in

The rest is just like someone saying they are “going on holiday this weekend” and the response being “no you are not, you are leaving on a Friday, that’s not the weekend”.
