Windows 11 Crash Randomly

OS: Windows 11 64 bit
Processor: i7-11700F
Memory: 32GB RAM
Graphics: RTX 3070
Direct X: 12
Network: Fibre NBN
Storage: 2TB NVMe

The game randomly crashes after a random amount of play time. There doesn’t seem to be any rythm or rhyme to it.

Windows 11 was a fresh install, not a Windows 10 upgrade.

Steps I’ve taken to try resolve:

  • Verified Integrity of Files
  • Ran EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe
  • Excluded EasyAntiCheat and EasyAntiCheat Service in anti virus software

I get the following 2 errors in Event Viewer:

Hello @Mythridium,

Since you already have tried the possible troubleshooting and it did not help, so I request you to please contact us via our live support channel so we can investigate your issue:

Be sure to have your game logs ready just in case they ask for them.

If asked kindly provide the latest 3 logs from: Users\AppData\Local\AGS\New World\LogBackups

Along with DxDiag report https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/open-and-run-dxdiag-exe-dad7792c-2ad5-f6cd-5a37-bf92228dfd85:

  • Go to Windows Start search bar and type dxdiag.
  • Click on dxdiag.exe.
  • When green progress bar goes away, select Save All Information and save the file to their desktop.

I hope this helps.

See you very soon in Aeternum :mage:t2: :magic_wand:

If I were you I’d go back to win 10.

Microsoft said win 11 will be better for games, word arround hardware forums says otherwise.

Buying a new PC soon and researching 11 vs 10 on NW. They don’t support it yet but lots of folks run it just fine. I’m running 10 right now and I get random crashes and freeze ups but not limited to NW. Sometimes 4 in a day, other times none for days. It’s just the OS and hardware have so many intertwined things that can mess it up. I’m sure in 50 years things will run perfect.
