This has been reported, there is apparently some issues with these patterns, team is looking into it.

This was reported 12days ago why has no one been notified or warned about this? Do we have to check forum posts/tweets ect. before doing anything in game? was there ever a heads up to notify anyone in game that there was a bug with the patterns? or are we to assume everyone reads the forum posts.

It isn’t just Christmas patterns…and they aren’t always broken. I’ve crafted some that work fine.

There have been many reports about the GS not coming out right. I reported it over 4 months ago and got crickets:
