Haha I should definitely consider increasing my ambition a bit.
I am down to like 40 schematics before I have learned every learnable thing in the game outside of pages from the books.
I need both of these too lol.
Yeah, since they changed furnishing aptitude chests it’s gone from seeing those schematics once every month to about 1/day. In fact saw someone selling two the other day, so hoping… Soon. Until then I’ll be waiting…

It’s in the code. This game was initially supposed to be a freeform builder survival. This is literally in the coding of the live game. It’s just not accessible on the playable side.

I want Dynamic Events in PvE open World.
For PvP, I want a Faction vs Faction vs Faction mode like Guild Wars 2 WvW. No Guild Controlled play, just all Faction battles
Dynamic Events, I have so much need for them. Sigh. Was running corrupted portals just to try and do it for fun but eventually went back to fishing. It’s really cool the first few times but unfortunately that’s really it. They would feel much cooler if they were not guaranteed static spawns and instead felt more random and the rewards were increased to balance with them being less present. Then adding more similar events that can also be added to the rotation and placed in the open world. So you can maybe stumble upon 1 of 5 different dynamic events.
Right now you can literally go to the same x spot on the map and they will always be there. Make it less farmable and more a true random feeling dynamic encounter in the open world.
Also fix storage so we can store all of our gathered items without an weight restrictions in our global storage. Right now there just isn’t space to gather and stockpile resources. I want to wander and explore the open world more but this game restricts us so much.
I couldnt be bothered to read everything. But i like the idea about text to speech the lore pages. Holy crap i would be delighted to hear some lore. But i really cant be bothered to read it…
Haha totally understand. It’s a ton to read but thanks! Yeah I really think it would significantly help with engaging players with the lore if they hired some voice actors to read the pages. Then when you walking around and pick one up, it starts reading them aloud to you. Then you can keep doing what you are doing while soaking in the lore.
Sadly all of these things would be great. However until the @Developer team rework town ownership and take the ability for companies to loot and destroy servers, New World is going to continue dying.
I say sadly because it’s a great game with some some very bad design features that has, and continues to, drive away its player base. What’s also sad is the team was told it was going to drive people away and kill the game since Alpha.
Yeah unfortunately the design maybe in theory sounds great but definitely a ton of issues coming from it that inherently drives players away. I know there want to fix this but we don’t really have any idea what their plans are unfortunately.
Majorities of PvP Issues would be resolved with PK system and Open PVP.
Simple. They don’t do it because they don’t want to.
It’s not that they don’t want to do it, it’s that I FORBID them to do it.

@Shadow_Fox i wanted to include you to see this, that said. It would be an easy fix. Give town owners a buff that teirs with how well they build the towns and make money generated by taxes ONLY APPLY to building the town. That takes the real world money trading out of the mix. It also gives pve players a reason to want to help towns/ own them. This will be important since once there isn’t a rw money incentive to own towns, the big companies will leave. It also incentivizes community building versus jacking taxes to max and letting the towns go.
The only question @Blackxp is if they will do it, or if they are just going to let the game die.
