I’m sorry to hear about the map display error you’re experiencing! I see how this can be frustrating, as you aren’t able to have an accurate visibility of the markers in your map! Have you tried any troubleshooting steps in order to solve this?
If not, I’d recommend, as a basic troubleshooting that could potentially help, that you Verify Files Integrity
In order to to that, go to your Steam Library and Right Click on the New World Title > Properties > Go to the Local Files Section > Then run the “Verify integrity of game files” check. If this does not work, please reinstall the game and check if it solves the issue.
Additionally, if this fails to resolve the issue, I would advise that you Contact Us via our live chat service so that one of our colleagues can help you raise a web ticket for your specific situation. They may ask for your game logs and DxDiag, which you can retrieve by following these steps:
Instructions for generating a DXdiag : Open and run DxDiag.exe 2 (Open and run DxDiag.exe). Feel free to use a pastebin file for the logs, just paste the file’s link to a response and i’ll be able to check it.
Instructions for finding the in-game logs:
- Press Windows+R on the keyboard, type %appdata% and press enter.
- Open the most recent file from this folder: /AppData/local/AGS/LogBackups.
