Somehow bullies get more protection then anything - as if they cant own up to their choices
Once you reported & blocked the person like any other reasonable person would, you would be done. Problem solved. This is not good enough for you, however. You seek to force the issue & control the speech of every person through the hidden hand of moderation. This is happening in all facets of our society today & a great many people are getting very, very wise to what is going on while growing very, very tired of tolerating the fascisms of people like you.
It is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS what people say or do. Especially when you have a report/block function to then wipe your hands of it & move on.
You DEFINITELY are the kind of person that brings this upon yourself & there is absolutely no doubt in my mind about that.
I only wish you would give more details. I wish to see how your brain works at this point; you are an oppressor. It is not enough for you to rid yourself of contact with people you do not like; you want them destroyed. In the context of this game, you want to force the invisible hand of moderation to punish people for you in a video game for something that, in all likelihood, you instigated in the first place. Though I will not outright assume that, the likelihood is very high that is so.
In the context of the real world, what you are doing is the equivalent of trying to get people arrested & thrown in jail for the rest of their lives for calling you names. With the excuse that this person should not be allowed to call anyone names. You do not care about anyone else. When you call me a joke, you are the pot calling the kettle black. What else would you like to call me just because you do not like what I am saying?

I think you get it by now. Also, just because something is legal or rules, does not mean it is morally or ethically correct. History has plenty examples. Hence TOS punishment has a messed up moral equivalence.

Block them, file a report. That’s all you can do. You are safe then, and there is a record. If someone else gets harassed, they can send a report too. Maybe eventually it will be noticed as unacceptable behaviour.

I agree with u. I wouldnt even discuss anything here when I would know that the support does not support harassment - if I had not had conversations with support agents - which were of unsupporting nature - I wouldnt have opened this thread. My only goal is to ensure that harassment should have no place in the game - it doesnt matter if toxic behaviour is normalised in this generation- there are levels to this which do not have be tolerated.

Did you do that? Anything further is none of your business. Anything further is a blood lust & makes you guilty of oppression, fascism & being a bully trying to use the invisible hand of moderation to do your killing for you.
That is reality. Welcome to reality. Failure to report/block & move on with your own life is where you have gone wrong. Anything further than that is an attempt to control moderation, oppress other people, get revenge & make someone suffer for something they said that you did not like.
People are not going to continue tolerating this form of tyrannical fascism much longer. People are getting tired of tolerating the intolerant. It is like this feeling I have. Like something is going to happen, though I do not know what.

That’s the extreme interpretation of an example tho.
You keep going in circles away from my original point: Getting people permanently banned for what they say or do in game. It’s erasing many hours of someone’s Life over a discomfort that can be avoided. It’s the intent to cause far more Grief to the person that grief you or harass you.
And then, on top of that, thinking yourself as good or the victim.
We are seeing many unfair banns lately around here. Like, Mass reporting DOES lead to bans that sometimes lead to Perma bans. Even if they are reviewed by Humans, the people at Support at VERY POORLY QUALIFIED to do a Proper Judgement.
In one case, a friend of mines called support, and they were confused and asked. “What’s New World?” That’s the people judging how to enforce rules here. How to deal with bullies and such.
The system is broken. The bully hardly gets the right punishment and often innocents are punished severely over little things.

I do not want toxic behavior & I do not want you to be harassed. I also do not want to see people who have failed to report, block & move on with their life be pitied or claim they are being harassed.
You are trying to oppress people who you can just report, block & move on about.
You are not being harassed. You are choosing not to report, block & move on with your own life. You are the villain as soon as you fail to report, block & move on. No one you block can harass you.
