The pieces listed here are generally the ones I run, though I have a few others not listed that I swap out when trying other builds. These are mostly bargain-bin pieces that I got really cheap. The most-expensive piece was my Purity leggings, which set me back about 60k.
I have 3 pieces with freedom to replace the vigor, but I haven’t really felt like I needed them, which is why I swapped them out for Vigor to begin with.
Currently trying to find gloves with resilient/elemental aversion/fortifying sacred ground, but haven’t been able to find any, unfortunately.
My first dozen OPR matches or so were done with Accelerating LE, Purity Splash of Light, and Refreshing DE. I’ve only recently-incorporated Sacred Ground into my build; originally, I was PvPing with a friend who provided the AoE heals, and I provided the spike heals.
Would appreciate any constructive feedback about my build, so that I can work on improving my build further.
I am a Paladin; I do not plan on swapping out my sword for a rapier as I feel my shield rush + leaping strike is a great escape plan that works really well for me. I do, however, want to replace the shield I have with a pure focus or pure con version, at some point.
Interesting concept going for light armor paladin!
Anyways looks fairly okay the build as im not a healer but someone who kills them my advice is you need freedom for PvP. The healers downfall is CC so when you can reduce the duration of hardstuns and roots like shieldbash or warhammer stuns or riposte, vault kick, scream, Ice shower this will give you a insane advantage and survivability.
One of my friends was playing that build and it’s good for a fast moving group to cc killing targets more but 450 focus shouldn’t be a thing at all. 360 it’s good
Yeah, afaik diminished returns beyond 300 make it more beneficial to run 150 to 200 con.
I generally 50 in OPR just to practice evading, but at 200 con I feel like an absolutely tanky healer.
You know, having removed the freedom pieces, I don’t really feel a difference. Haven’t really had any issues with being chain-stunned unless half the OPR group is on me, but I think I’m dead at that point no matter what.
On the bright side, a lot of people have tried to 1v1 or 2v1 me and the smallest group size to take me out in OPR was a 5stack. I’m not sure how tough it normally is to kill healers, but I feel accomplished with that.
Meta for super group focused healers is sacred splash de rigjht now.
Replace the onxys with thrust and fire gems. Its mostly flamethowers muskets and bb that kill healers now, not greataxes and hammers.
Vigor is a useless perk, id swap back to the freedom pieces.
Screw your rp and grab a rapier. I played with one of the last war slotted light sns healer holdouts but even she said the build was worthless compared to rapier after the leaping strike honing change. Save that shit for pve where you get away with trolling.
