Healing is already high enough, regen potion can be use right before entering the fight, defense potions dont have animation. 4,2k instant Self healing durning fight, it could be really annoying …
Yeah, but think of how much more dps you could be doing by not taking the time to roll out of a fight and healing? You can just keep spamming lmb instead. 
You got me, good change then ! Abandon any pvp mechanics. Just leave 6 skills and lbm. Dodges should also be nerfed no longer god mode durning dodge animation it makes fights last so long. Just stun, root and lbm fieeestaa !! Real pvp.

In all seriousness it’s a completely unneeded ‘QoL’ mechanic and was never asked for. No idea why they spent the time on this instead of other things.

Everyone who is against it, you know what to do:
They have auto potting on PTR right now and no one has said they like it or that it improves gameplay.
Also tab targetting exists in those games you mentioned so New World doesn’t need it.

what makes combat in new world so good is the fact that they dont do tab targeting.
This type of combat in new world is at the core of its design and i dont want to see it changed.
hard pass on this idea.
if you like that sort of game play there are many other options that cater to it.
new world does not need to be a copy of them, its fine doing its own thing.
I think tab targeting for ranged would be nice. Not being able to place AoE down if you can’t seen the enemies feet is frustrating and you seldom hit with Lclick attacks when the mobs are being dragged all over the screen. I’m a bow users and am just about coping ok, tried mages builds and was always missing unless playing solo. I don’t use the arrow AoE at all as I can’t always place it, explosive shot always misses unless I shoot the floor so, Poison shot is my only AoE that I hit consistently with. I’m not sure why I can’t land explosive shot, I’m guessing it’s a bug as it misses even when I try a body shot at a mob running straight at me and I’m stood still…. Very frustrating! Mage builds feel like I’ve 6 explosive shots all missing… not fun at all and needs addressing in some way. Tab target would do this. Same with healing, I’ve not seen these healing mechanics anywhere before and they’re dreadful!!! Trying to target a player rolling around and dodging attacks in amongst bright flashes is the cluckest I’ve seen. 
If you want tab system comabt go play wow.
And big no to auto potions and other crap mchanics that do lower skill cap for pvp.
The PvP already suffers from the life staff light amor meta.
This will make it so you don’t need a life staff at all and can just focus on combat. Love it!
I have to play with one bloody hand and I’m still opposed to these stupid potions; stop creating silly hypotheticals to justify them
Let’s give it a try on the PTR and see how it feels first before spewing your drivel.
New World it’s an extremly hard game, so we need this auto potion to put all our concentration on the fight… Seriously, could you please burn this stupid idea and concentrate on more smart things ?
Yea I think they should work on that next. I don’t like to practice or to use my precious time, so they should implement ranged auto-aim, it would be super healthy for the game 
I’ve never played a tab targeting game but everything I have watched about it sounds like I wouldn’t like it. I like to aim my characters weapons and not just push a button and have a random dice decide if it’s a hit or not. Sounds incredibly dull tbh. It’s a hard pass.
