I agree, they have to do something bold or it’s doomed. I have been telling them this in submit feedback in game constantly.
They will do something bold for sure. I feel like they have no choice but to.
The WoW scam will continue and even get worse. I checked their new talent tree system, it is absolutely shocking what they are doing. They take away all your class / spec kit and give them back to you in the form of a tree and call that “player agency/choice/custmization”. Nothing new or refreshing there. Music and graphics continue to be depressing one / two color max all blue/all white/all red…etc type themes and with very depressing music in the bg. Difficulty is in the form of how they make bosses throw a ton of ground shit on you and aiming is non existant…etc so you just gotta keep moving. That’s not including the regular (almost weekly) god mode exploits discovered by Rextroy showing how extremely broken the game is after almost twenty years in development. Plus the pay2win token and shop on top of the monthly sub and paid expansions.
FF14 continues to be a single player game with story as the focus and sleep enducing world/combat/sounds/ outdated visuals as usual. Once you’re done with the story, you’re done with the game. Almost zero replayability, cannot share quests after more than a decade…etc
Not paying a sub to these two anymore, ever again.
NW is slowly but surely shaping up to be the game I’ve been looking for and I am patient enough to wait for it to grow bigger with time.
The new dungeon feels super refreshing, almost like being inside a movie. Cant wait for it to go live and spam dungeons since no orbs are required anymore for entry.
Also performing music on hard mode feels like playing guitar hero from inside NW which is awesome since not only is it fun but it gives you combat and other kinds of buffs! A great relaxing mini game inbetween nerve wracking action combat sessions.

They are doing the exact opposite of ignoring the community. Probably too much listening to the wrong crowd who ended up with AGS removing the third weapon…BIG mistake.

There is a chance brimstone is the real mmorpg part of the game. Like what we have now is a survival game that was transformed into a mmorpg, but brimstone could have been designed from the ground up as a mmorpg. Is this copium? Maybe. They haven’t talked a lot about it, so who knows.

The roadmap has been telling us a lot if you look harder.
Enneads are a council of Egyptian gods. Means next tier of the story, combat, and leveling is coming.
The background on the fall roadmap shows “snake mountain” scaled with environment and person in the art. Since Enneads are egyptian gods, is the mountain a shrine, temple, fortress of Apopis or Nehebkau?
By the size, its bigger than the open world Elite mountain in Ebonscale. Will it be open world, raid instance, or expedition?
We also have the Varangians. What is their role in Brimstone? Do theses elite vikings have beef with the Egyptian gods? Are they wanting to plunder their secrets?
As for Brimstone map and mobs. A few vids show what some of it looks like. As for mobs… We know of giant scorpions so far (vids on that too).
More and more info is being either leaked via datamine or teasers/spoilers. It’s starting to seem like an epic expansion more than mere addons.
What I want? Lets the devs do their thing. Just let me have a longsword that looks like …
And maybe various armors that looks like stargate gear!

You like this game and you defend it rather well which is very appreciable. However, you can’t say that AG is listening to us.
Of all our important wishes that the moderators pass on to them, I have yet to see anything concrete back from AGS. They do what they want and prove it to us with every update.
Well, it is true. It does work. You can google “best MMORPG” and on pretty much any websites list, wow will be #1 or close to it. Blizzards business model also “just works”. I am sure they turn a nice profit every quarter. Not really sure where all your hate is coming from, but it sounds like out of envy because your game is not on any top 10 list.
I play both, however neither one is scratching the itch for me atm. Been having more fun pvp’ing in DAoC lately to be honest.
But, to each their own. Glad you love this game and even though it is highly doubtful, i hope you continue to enjoy it for many years to come.

Just because they don’t implement what people want doesn’t mean they aren’t listening. They may just not agree with what you are asking.

I have seen my feedback answered. Recent is the suggestion to make Wars a real instance. Been mentioning that since CB.
There is more than these forums used for feedback. It can’t be said enough.
Or that it is in a stack of things to do and it’s at the bottom or somewhere near there.
So many variables yet certain people think they know how it is supposed to be.

I made a topic in CB phase about making War an instance 100% to assist in desync resolution and overall server performance.
But scaling was the loudest discussion. And with all loud discussions, other ideas get lost.
There is nothing personal in what I am saying.
They’ve done everything I’ve asked for so far within reason and time allowing. Some things take many months to implement. Yes they have been listening, but not to everyone and for everything since many things conflict / contradict with other things other people are asking for…

Not out of defiance, however, I’d be curious to know what areas of the game they concern.
