Did you watch his video? He specifically states that he still loves NW. Yes, he says he likes Lost Ark as well and is taking some time to enjoy it since NW is in a bug month. That’s awesome, and I suspect that’s a smart business move on his part since he will make money doing exactly that. However, you couldn’t have created a thread title that is more wrong if you tried. At least have the courtesy of posting what he says in the video and not what he didn’t say.

Free to play - Yeah, I think pretty much their entire potential player base has already bought the game. They’re not going to be losing much of anything by going free to play if that’s the intent. I’m sure expansions will be a purchased good down the road as well. lols
Good. Less clickbait speculation threads or threads telling me how to level a profession when his level was sub 100. They follow money and don’t care about the game…just the views.

I had to block his channel to stop his videos from popping up on my homepage.
Why anyone would want to watch a 20 minute video of a dev post that you can read in under 10 seconds if beyond me.

Ditto. Then to add soooo much speculation to what is plainly written and the titles of many of his videos were just plain misleading.
Watch his video, he says he played 60 hours of Lost Ark in 3 days. Seriously, that is what is wrong with gaming. None of these games are designed around someone playing 20 hours out of every 24 nor should they. People need to get some balance to their lives.

I’m waiting for the “that’s how gamers be and if the devs don’t know this…they dumb” responses. It’s completely unsustainable. Seriously, even the fat guy at the buffet understands that sometimes he’ll have to wait for them to restock the five pounds of fried shrimp he ate in five minutes.

That is a fantastic & optimistic breakdown. Some of those changes are awesome. Some, as he said, we probably have to wait & see. My boy Demone, Ginger Prime & Sl3nder are probably my favorite people who do content for New World.
Definitely a nice way to live.

Yeah, ser medieval gave up pretty quickly. Played with him a few times with my then company leader.
He got a bit whiney about the whole thing shortly after release. He never joined a company and always had other games locked and loaded for his future content goals.
New World’s release popularity gave him enough following to expand the way he had planned, even if New World didn’t struggle so hard, he would have had freedom to do whatever content he wanted and have viewers.
Good for him, I guess.
unfortunately you need your pvp gear to be 625 in a few weeks when everyone else is there, or you will be at quite an disadvantage just on GS scaling and dmg taken / given.
its true tho shroud 1st day of NW stream was 40h (yes 40 f.ing hours straight) no content can resisst

because this game is unfinished dog shit. the sooner the scrap the shit dev team the better. imagine selling 25 million copies and all you have to show for it is 20k bots.
I ran across his twitch channel and he isn’t even that good. He was in a group in a dungeon and he got hit by practically everything. Not sure how good he was in NW but not very good in Lost Ark really.
Like the rest. Use to like Demone but a lot of his content lately was reading patch notes. I can read those for myself. I like Sethphir better.
Sir Medieval was my favorite back in Alpha/Beta. After launch I could tell he was leaving. Then his content turned into him talking about a bunch of different mediocre games and I unsubbed.
