10K is a bit exaggeration, but as a medium armor im getting hit for 4.5k from bow players that know what they are doing.
You aren’t the sharpest tool in the shed are you? Maybe if you actually used a bow in the game you would know it certainly isn’t useless. Its all about the headshot dipstick. Go run OPR and tell me how you do against a bow wielding maniac. Trust me your gonna get one shot.

I have been smacked for 7k by a bow user, it caused me to switch to using bows but yeah 10k might be to high.
you aren’t even in a shed if you want me to believe a heavy armor (albeit meta ga.hamm) noob gets crit for 10 k… unless the idiot is wearing 200 level gear. again show me a ss of it and ill eat my hat.
I didn’t say 10k, but you saying a bow is useless is literally false. Bow users in this game are actually pretty decent especially since the only way we are getting those crits is smacking you in the head. 7k crits is however possible with a bow in this game

I mean, I’m not lying. There’s not really a way I can prove it to you. Glass cannon builds are meant to deal high amounts of damage. They’re easily beat by closing the distance.

I am not referring to a specific ability, I am explaining to jimmyt that while 10k crits aren’t possible 7k crits are with a bow. My argument is bows aren’t useless. He states they are useless, but when I run OPR or invasions I am always being asked to snipe targets or deal with snipers in invasions.
My bad, I wasnt specific myself, is it possible to get that 7k damage you’re referring to against heavy when some skills doesn’t apply headshot damage anymore?

It’s not an exaggeration. People are severely underestimating how powerful perfect/near perfect roll bows are in a glass cannon build. Add in 15% damage boost via food in OPR, powerful honing stones, command post buffs, and empower and you can and will get dinged for 10k.

In terms of heavy I don’t know, I am usually to far to notice so it would have to come from, the person hit verifying they are in heavy armor. For instance another fellow @Procrastinati mentioned he was crit for 10k as a heavy armor.

They are possible… I’ve been hit by them. Stacking all sorts of damage buffs and targetting rended players will get you the numbers you’re saying aren’t possible.

Yeah that is the point I was trying to make to @Jimmyt he essentially says they are useless and he couldn’t be more wrong than he is. He sorely underestimates our ability.

Its worth a try, its a slow start but you start to see how useful it is once you play with it and get used to evading mobs. We really shine when we have distance of course. 
In his defense (and just stating this now before changes are live) - OPR buffs are being nerfed. We likely won’t see those numbers as frequently, but I guarantee you people are going to be surprised by good bow users in PvP scenarios

Yeah IKR, my mistake. I’m so bored without the game that I updated WOTs as a back-up but after 11 years that game is so stale.
