It is cool and its even cooler because you dont have it with your addons

You can have Reekwater - it’s like the ugly sibling of Weavers Fen. Not an edengrove fan either. The movement impediment in Reek and the lack of visibility in Eden make those locations very undesirable for gathering or hunting in general.
That aside, I would like a functional mini-map that worked with all of the gathering skill triggers available on the radar. TBH, the radar doesn’t always work, but I imagine that if there was accurate gathering radar information that could be placed on a mini-map, the gatherer’s experience would be much enriched.
Want me to tell you the location for a solid run?
Between searching youtube/google for the best routes and this addon, I’d take the addon.
Makes more fun and doesnt feel forced/like work.

I have never used the compass to find a location not sure anyone else really would, just go to area and adventure and remember the spot is it that hard?

It’s not difficult to remember a route and you don’t have to stare at a map, you were blind but now you see
“Nomadweller” who can’t be assed out to explore a new area without a map showing them where to go. The irony is delicious.
There’s legitimate complaints about the game, and then there’s this nonsense.

They do make me want to enjoy the views. Searching, exploring, gathering these are things that have me out and about in the world. This experience makes it not ‘work’. I’m not the only one who feels this way.
The compass is at times useful but I usually spot what I’m looking for before my compass even picks up on it.
Resources are abundant more so than any other game I’ve played. I can’t run a hundred ingame yards without finding something.
And along the way I find new and interesting places. I spent a lot of time leveling in EF more than I probably should have, but I was constantly seeing new places to explore and encounters to be had and new areas for even more resources.
As many issues as the game may have resource gathering isn’t one of them.

imagine a cheat user AIMBOT crying because the devs clearly destroyed that cheat by implementing a fix that counters that AIMBOT and this guy come in the DEVS forums to say ‘hey guys why did you fixed that AIMBOT cheat, you’re awfull, now i have to AIM my shots because i couldnt before, its so boring’ … roflmao.
