I totally agree to that as a player in El-Dorado. I have many friends in both El-Dorado and Yggdrasil and none of them complain about the situation of their server. Both of those servers have decent active player. Why would @Developer’s need to do such a merge ? Even in the game chat of El-Dorado right now, a lot of people started to complain about how bad this idea is.

Completely agree, it seems like they are trying to solve a problem that doesn’t exist. If it isn’t broken don’t fix it!
This is probably going to make the territory war situation even worse because now there will be even fewer people available to staff rosters (because all of us have alts between Ygg and El D just to make the headcount work).
Change the merc cap to 15/15.
First the light armor nerfs, then the musket even more sitting on rock camping.

yea but its not that every player that is warring on el-d is warring on ygg
Merging effectively reduces war slots for people, and invasions take over 1 day so wars won’t be that frequent.
As a Ygg player, this is 100% true. Lol.

Once upon a time Ygg was a really nice place to be, then merges into it trashed it to the point where I haven’t bothered leaving the East Coast server I wound up on after the RTA server I was on out there got merged…and then merged again.
I’ll have two on El D now and probably won’t be touching either of them until I figure out where to use 1 (or both) free transfers since I’ve never used any. (EDIT - no I won’t since they’re the last NW-W legacy servers standing)
Zero interest in seeing this merge
Incentivize returning players and make rewarding gameplay. Dont merge these two servers.
People have transferred from both to the opposite to avoid particular guilds. If anything this will kill the population more than help it.

Im sad for YGG to lose it’s identity. But I think it will probably be a good thing. Population has been dropping. I’ll be happy to see a few new faces in OPR really.
This is one of the most poorly thought out merges so far. Could the people making these desicions actually talk to the communities involved before making such decisions.
Neither server is struggling yet, and neither server has really asked for it. Don’t get me wrong things are on a definite lul right now, but if anything is just going to annoy more players into quitting / taking a break, more that it will help things.
Also, could we wait till the new promised content from the roadmap comes out a month or so from now before doing any merges on regions that have less than 3 active servers.
Plently of us don’t want to have to switch to a new fresh / dead server when we suddenly get the return of long queue times from all the returning players poking their heads in to check out the new content.

Crazy how the complainants are all from the ygg side, sucks they wont be able to dodge the real wars anymore. The game running at near max server pop is never a bad idea. Ygg players just dont want to lose their land.

But remaining DG players actually dodged ygg wars and left for El-D when they lost to U up.
So the people on El-D are the ones dodging wars. People who couldn’t hack it in ygg left for El-D, not the other way around.
I guess we will see whos been dodging when we are all on same server right?
