Unable to make a second character on EU Central. Every available server displays the same message that a character already exists on that server and must be deleted. My main character is on Ti ra nog which is a full server so I am physically unable to try to make a character on there so this is not the issue. I have been told that it is a known issue but I’ve not been able to make a character for 5 days now. Surely something this big would be hot fixed asap?

My apologies for the late response! I’m sorry to hear about you getting a message saying that you can’t create a character in EU Central. This is indeed a known issue, and is being worked on right now! I do have a couple of probing questions!
Have you tried creating a second character on all the servers of this region? There are some that are full, but some of them should have the character creation allowed. You can view the server status list here:
Additionally, do you play on the Public Test Realm? Do you have a character in this region of the PTR? If so, please let me know so I can provide the best assistance possible!

yes, I can open characters in the us east, but I can’t open characters in the eu central. i’ve also tried different servers, including asgard and ciranog, and I can’t open any characters in the eu central, I’ve never opened a ptr character before. i also checked the server status

Thank you for providing this information! I see, so as no other characters are created on the PTR servers, I would recommend a couple of troubleshootings to see if they help solve this issue on your end:
First, if you haven’t already, please Verify Files Integrity
In order to to that, go to your Steam Library and Right Click on the New World Title > Properties > Go to the Local Files Section > Then run the “Verify integrity of game files” check. If this does not work, please reinstall the game and check if it solves the issue.

I am also having this issue with trying to move my main character ‘Atrionix’ from US East - Orofena to an EU server. I already have one (1) character on EU Central - Barri, which is my alt so I know I’m unable to move there, plus that server is locked, but I should be able to move to any other server, right? Verifying and re-installing did not do the trick for me. I still get this message:

I’m sorry to hear about you also having this issue, this time with the character transfer. You are right, you should be able to move to any other server other than Barri!
