At least with the old way more people still farmed the world bosses than they do now. I understand you were trying to get more people to do the bosses throughout the whole term of the event but this change was a flop. people only did it once for the first 8 days and now hardly no one does them
That’s because the event is mind numbingly boring with nothing to farm off of him. I kill him 1 time a day just fine but as far as repetitively killing him over and over again you’re best off just chopping trees because it’s ultimately more beneficial.
At least there is a reason to kill Crassus once a day. 
The one time a day cache after the first 8 days drops a random world drop and a perk mod. Past that the drop rates are such that farming him more is pointless.
