You promise bigger cap and announced that you can handle more!

then stop complaining, the issue is on you rolling on a super popular server.

I will continue to express my opinion as I please, thank you very much. Perhaps learn some lessons around boundaries? No one is forcing you to read what I, and many others, are putting on the forums and elsewhere.

entitlement ? when you have paid for a product/service that you are not receiving

Perhaps you got the game for free? Pretty sure I’ve paid for a service / game and what I am receiving is not up to scratch.

Otherwise you’re right, if New World was F2P you wouldn’t see me going on about queue times at all.

there is nothing forcing you to sit in a queue. Simply play on a different server. Wow, this is so hard.

there are tons of EU servers with zero queue, right now. The problem is on your end.

Ye leveling a character up on a server isn’t stopping me going to another server to start over again in a lower queue

Nah the problem is you continuing to passive aggressively harass simply because you don’t share the same view.

Anyway, I won’t be responding further as we will now start to go round in circles.

It really goes to show you how entitled a lot of people are. There’s hundreds of servers now you just refuse to use another server. This is all your fault at this point. The amount of time you spend sitting in that server queue you’d already reach the same progress on the new character.

I PLAY not solo guild members 40+ levels no on skip that?..second they add 60 servers now 30 in que think that help?

dont feed the troll and just ignore that guy.

the game has 2 days of real life. keep calm.
You literally wait years for this game. (or not, maybe you discover that in the last week). You can wait a week more to see how servers and queue evolves.

I can only presume you’re saying that to provoke.

So you’re playing on 200 ping with absolutely random people because you’re “not stupid”. Yikes.

Tell us how sad the video game has made you. Grow up little buddy and realize it is just a video game.

Actually it’s been very smooth, and in addition I rolled a character on one of the new EU servers too. The comment about playing with random people is very odd, it’s an mmorpg, the point is to play in a world with random people. I’ve been playing with random people since I discovered MUD and EQ2, but I’m not anti-social.

edit to add connection times pic

They already increased server size by 250 slots up to 2250

no server has 2500 slots, some have been slowly increased to 2250. these sort of shitposts seem to be the norm now. I mean if you want evidence why they shouldn’t boost it by that much that quickly just look to the open beta and closed beta.

Well, but you know as well as anyone, then, that MMOs changed, both when they got bigger, and when out of game comms became dominant. The norm today is not to play with random people, or to communicate much at all in the game itself, but to game with people with whom one has pre-existing relationships on gaming media (discord, long-term guilds, etc.) outside the game. The rest of the “players” are seen, more or less, as “live NPCs” by many people who play MMOs today. It wasn’t this way in 2005. It was starting to get this way by 2010, but somewhere around 2012-2015 it become solidly this way and it isn’t going back to social gaming. Social media takes the social role that MMOs used to provide, so MMOs are now more of a “pure game experience”, with the social aspects off-loaded into Discord or other forms of social media, rather than interacting with “randos” in the game world itself.
