What gaming rigs are people using to play the beta?

This is my gaming rig that I’m currently using.

I’m using an i7 10700K, 3080ti, 32gb of RAM.
I have no problem running the game at max. Though I do cap my framerate at 60 since I fried a 980ti during Alpha.

My ROG Strix Laptop has an RTX2060, I’ve maxed everything in-game out and I’m hitting 92FPS. How did you manage fry a 980ti?

Read the forums. Some people fried their 3090’s. Something is causing some of the GPU’s to overheat

What?
I’m on a RTX 2080TI, and I get 20FPS on Medium…?

How on earth are you getting so many frames?!

My laptop’s specs:

Summary

Intel i7-10870H 2.2GHz 8 core CPU, overclockable to 5GHz
512GB M.2 SSD
16GB 3000MHz DDR4 RAM
6GB Geforce GTX 2060 Dedicated Graphics, it has a 1GHz clock, overclockable to 1.7GHz
Intergrated Intel UHD Graphics
1920x1080 Display with 144hz Refresh Rate

Intel i7 8700K @ 4.50GHz
64 GB DDR4 3200MHz
Asus RTX2080Ti - Whatever it was at launch
2TB M.2 NVMe Samsung 970 Evo SSD

All watercooled (except memory and drive) and displayed at 2560x1440p.

Like I say, 20FPS on Medium graphics settings. I thought the game was just majorly unoptimised, but that to me suggests there’s something fundamentally wrong with my GPU.

EDIT:
Either that, or just the 2560x1440p textures aren’t optimised.

You could try setting your resolution to 1920x1080. And also have you updated your OS, hardware drivers and your graphics drivers?

Not since this launched like, I wouldn’t have thought driver optimisations are out for this yet (especially since the game is apparently bricking a specific type of 3090 by EVGA).

Another user posted that they’ve capped their FPS to 60, I’ve just left mine uncapped.

Updating your OS, hardware drivers and graphic drivers always helps keep your rig running smoothly.

Game runs fine for me but i do notice the fps decreases the longer i play, definitely requires more optomisation.

amd 3900 and nvidia 3090 FE. I tried uncapped first but it took vram to 106C, so I capped framerate to 60 fps and now vram only reaches 96C. playing at 4k max everything.

11th Gen i5-11600k Windows 10 64bit 3060 TI RTX

Everything up to date windows and nvidia. I only encounter some lag in towns but the rest is pretty smooth. Once in awhile i will get that white game crash notice. Then its ok again.

i7-7700K, NVIDIA 1080 GPU, Win 10, 16GB RAM,

I play at 1920x1080 in windowed mode on 6oFPS max.

No issues so far even on my old rig.

3800X
16Gb 3600MHz
1080 Ti

I’ve capped at 60FPS (1440p) and it’s constant, busy towns give some slight drops.

32 GB DDR4 3600mHz
XFX GTS XXX RTX 580 8GB
1920x1080 on 55" screen
All settings on very high capped at 60fps. 45-50fps in towns, 60+fps everywhere else.

Edit: Also running on Windows 11 Pro Build 22000.71

Running everything on very high and getting 70-80 fps in town. Locked it to 60fps cause if the game is going to cook off a Nvidia card they probably are not doing anything to keep Radeon running.

Edit: With everything on High, Vsync Off, Max Field of View and FPS Uncapped, I’m running 133 to 162 FPS and my fans are Howlin’ - I cap FPS in game at 60. No real need to be higher than that.

Out of the 50 or so rigs I’ve built over the years, this one stands out to be the best performer, graphic quality and low temperature rig out of them.

I posted nearly everything about this rig, so folks could use it as a shopping list, if they happen to be in the market. Without monitors & peripheral’s, this rig ran right around $2900

Something’s not right.

3070 (which your 2080 should come really close to) here and although I have it capped at 60 to bypass the login queue screen GPU spinup bug, when it’s uncapped with all High/Very High I’m running anywhere from 100 to 120+ out in the boonies and solid 60s in town @1440p.

I’m not, Stevoid is:

My performance is just fine with a 10700 and my 3070.
