What is your character name in New World: Octavian Gaius
What server/world did you experience your issue on: Midgard
Describe the issue you are experiencing: I deal zero damage with the Void Gem equipped on my weapon versus some players. Comes os with the 0 plus the void symbol. I think it is when they are using Topaz Gymsum Potion, but not sure. It is only vs Players.
Is this a bug or an exploit: Bug/Exploit not sure, as it happens vs players so not sure if they are intentionally causing it.

Could not screen shot dmg was too fast paced in OPR.
What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Use Amythest Tier 5 gem in non-INT weapon, e.g. Hatchet.

I experienced this bug today in a war. My musket is split with void damage and IS an INT weapon. There was a particular few people that my musket shots were doing my void split damage as 0. I was literally hitting this guy for 600 thrust and no elemental running 300 Dex 150 Int. Please look into this @Magva I dont think someone should be able to reach 100% damage reduction on an element. that sounds busted.
Yeah, this still happens to me all the time, but it is only vs certain players. That is part of the problem, as I have not been able to recreate it myself, which is why I say it feels a little like an exploit.
+15% Void Absorption from topaz ( Which is busted tbh)
Still only gets us to 37.5% reduction. Even if you slotted all void you’d still be 80 tops.
This dude was taking 100% reduction.
I had the same issue in Opr. I’m using musket with void gem, thurst damage hits but void side deals 0 damage. I had also Suırgeon ring which buffs void damage 4.9 but guy still taking 0 damage from void.

I don’t think so because all the other people was taking damage from void but the one mage player always that doesn’t get any damage from it. I don’t think it’s because surgeon ring, maybe topaz gypsum bug,please check it out devs.
This happed to two of our musket players in OPR also against the same people. I would say this is an exploit if it only happened to one person then ok a bug but it was happening to both musket players and the healer WAS taking dmg at the start of OPR as they snipped them down then they started taking zero dmg.
Im bumping this. I was willing to bet with enough stacking and warhorns it may be possible in Wars but for it to occur in OPR means this needs Looked at. 100% elemental reduction shouldnt be achievable @Luxendra@Aenwyn
Okay, I am using t5 elemental gems and sometimes I was dealing 0 elem damage, rarely, probably to certain players. But I’m not using void gems. My assumption is that other elemental gems can be affected not just void
I have yet to see this occur on any other element but void and exclusively on people who are using Topaz Potions.
it is plausible that it is replicable with any +% damage negating potion…but so far I have yet to see it on other damage sources.
I don’t use void often and have yet to see a X/0 damage from other elements.
