Zero pvp to be found

Beyond pushing a zone or defending a zone there is no real incentive to PVP. Zone pushed and defense are inherently zergy. I like PVP but in this game most people dont just run around looking for PVP, they are doing something else. Most gathering takes special gear, not your PVP set. So Why would I want to flag when Im in a bunch of random mining gear to run into some kid whos been running around for an two hours in his full decked PVP gear looking for players to gank and just runs from any fight he starts to lose.

Make rewards for PVP.
Make zones that are PVP only but give them bonuses for factions to fight over, not PVE content. Even many PVP players dont like mixing PVE and PVP. If you are going to get loot in those zones its from killing other players, not mobs.

I don’t know if its been said yet, because I’m too lazy to read the whole thread, but have you guys who complain about no PvP stopped and thought that 3/4 of the people are just concentrating on leveling up and getting gear still? I for example have put in a ridiculous amount of time in and am still level 57. I, like many others, will PvP when we hit lvl 60 and get at least our faction gear.

Just relax…people need some time to get levels and gear. Game is not dead. I go to new zones and see low levels starting out all the time.

What is the point when cheaters are going to use invincibility cheats or lag exploits to win Wars?
Until that’s fixed and bans go out, PvP is pointless.

they could add a sort of bounty system. if someone from an opposing faction kills a lot of yours you get a notification in chat and a marker of the general area that person is in.

could also add a conflict marker if there’s people fighting so more can join in.

other than that it’s up to the players of each server if they wan’t to flag up or not.
i don’t know how every server works but mine has a discord so if people really want to pvp they could just hop on there and get it going.

oh and add some faction tokens as reward for killing.

open world pvp is dead because there is no incentive, e.g bring loot on death in and i gauruntee there will be alot more pvp

Im curious why people currently interested in PVP would not be running around flagged for PVP.

they need a full loot pvp area, e.g wilderness in god forbid that forsaken game runescape

have it with level limit, you must be lvl 55 to go there, and you auto flag walking into there, however when you die in that zone you drop 1 piece of equipped gear.

pvp will be infinite resource than as people will always want to take other peoples gear its just human nature, and the economy will improve because of it, as people will continously be recycling resources to craft new gear, at the moment you craft end game gear and you damage it and repair it with gold, gear does not disappear unless you personally salvage it. so in turn there is no incentive for the economy to self replicate and no incentive to pvp, especially once you hit 60, because once you are 60, 10% extra xp is useless

You dont explain why people are not running around flagged for PVP right now.

I like PVP and dont mind not getting anything at all, just killing for the fun has to be enough (and is, if PVP is your core interest).
I even think, your suggestion would decrease the amount of players flagged.

it wouldnt decrease the amount, as its not open world, it is a specific new zone, purely for full loot pvp, and the reason why no one is flagged up now is because there is literally no reward, you kill someone they respawn and run back again and again, i had it the other day in great cleave and it got boring after killing the same guy 4 times

It could even be an area that has a higher resource or mob density lots of ways to draw people to it, im not saying to get rid of the open world pvp they have currently but make a high risk area where if you die you lose 1 piece of your gear to the opposing player.

People dont want to pvp for no reward, its the same reason they have level up rewards etc on games like call of duty

the game literally has everything for high risk pvp, the first design of the game was based on that, even to hiding in bushes to gank people.

Flagging not only currently not give you appropriate rewards for kills, but it usually puts you in great debt regarding repair bills. It is extremely painful for people that find themselves skirmishing for hours. I need to grind Treated Wood bows for hours, so I can get out and play without thinking about repair.

nobody asked for your opinion of why PVP is bad and we should just do PVE. we want pvp, not pve.
